The Catechist's role in the parish is to model God’s love to others and in particular to children. A catechist helps students grow in their faith journey by supporting them in after school lessons.
Students who do not attend Catholic schools have the opportunity to attend after school lessons to receive support and instruction of the meanings and values of our Catholic faith. The lessons are structured around the Sacraments and run prior to each Sacrament preparing the students to receive the Sacrament.
For more information about the RCIC navigate Sacraments on the website, or contact the parish office for registration of children into the sacramental programs.
