The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy and by working to shape a just and compassionate society. We offer the people in need a hand-up by always respecting their dignity and sharing our hope and encouragement that they take control of their own destiny.
To this end we assist those in need here in Busselton with emergency relief in the form of food, clothing, furniture and household items. We also assist with short term emergency housing, transport to medical appointments, and to Mass, Visitation of the Sick and lonely, helping with utility bills such as electricity, gas, water and telephone where these have reached an emergency level.
We ask for your support in this work in the future and thank you for your wonderful generosity in the past. If you are interested in joining this welfare group, please ring the parish office for further details.
