THE OFFICE OF THE ‘PRIESTLY LIFE AND MINISTRY’ is the Diocese of Bunbury’s agency which was established by Bishop Gerry Holohan to specifically look after the ongoing formation of our priests. The “Priestly Life and Ministry’ operates in nearly all Australian Catholic diocese under the name of ‘Clergy Life and Ministry.’ In our diocese, it takes on the mandate of organising and facilitating our priests’ ‘professional development days’ and other ministry-related activities such as ministerial review 9self-
appraisal), mentoring professional development and spiritual direction. It also promotes camaraderie and friendship among priests by organising annual social events such as the ‘Annual Fish Adventure’ (April 14), ‘Clergy Fun-O-Rama’ October 13-14) and 3B: Buddies over a Barbie and Bevies’ (January 4-8 2021). Fr Pierre Repuyan has been the Director since the agency’s inception in June 2017. In 2020, our priests are expected to attend four two-day on- going priestly formation days: March 17-18, May 19-20, August 11-12, November 10-11. Please pray for our priests that they may remain faithful to their priestly vocation by serving well the People of God entrusted to their care.
