It is a requirement that all Priests everywhere take an annual Retreat to recharge their spiritual batteries. This year, all the Priests who serve in our Diocese will be attending a retreat in Safety Bay from Sunday evening. It is hoped that this respite, where they have the opportunity and time to deepen their connection with Jesus without the heavy demands of Parish Ministry, will renew them in heart and soul. (I am sure it will as they will have Bishop Greg Homeming from Lismore as the speaker.) Please keep all the Priests in your prayers this week. Deacon Barry will be celebrating Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion here in the Parish.
