Pope Francis is urging Catholics to pray their Rosaries, throughout the month of May, for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bishop Gerard has also appealed to each of us to join him in prayer this month. We believe the Rosary has the power to bring peace to a world in crisis and win the salvation of souls. Please join us on the last Saturday of this month (29 May) at 10am where we will pray a ‘Living Rosary’ in the grounds of St. Joseph, and offer our intention for an end to the pandemic and for all who suffer in any way from it. Each bead on the Rosary will be represented by a Parishioner who prays the designated Lord’s Prayer/Hail Mary/Glory Be etc. Sixty people will be needed; will you be one of them? Encourage a friend to join you. A cuppa will be served in the Ned Kenny Centre afterwards. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.” —Sr. Lucia dos Santos (Fatima seer)
