Priests of the Diocese of Bunbury will be gathering in the Cathedral Parish of St Patrick on November 16-17 for the fourth and last of their Ongoing Priestly Formation Days (PD Days) in 2021. On November 16, Fr Tony Chiera, VG, will be running the PD Day workshop titled: “RCIA and Missionary Parishes: Understanding, Implementing and Enhancing the RCIA in our Parishes.” Fr Tony will be presenting the core principles of the Christian Initiation in the RCIA, the stages, steps and rituals of the RCIA, and the practicalities, challenges and resources for starting and ‘staying on the road’. On November 17, Fr Eli Comanda OSJ of the Mt Barker-Denmark Parish will be sharing his theological reflection on a pastoral issue. The second day provides priests a forum to share their personal thoughts and reflections on various pastoral issues that they encounter in their pastoral ministry. Please pray for all our priests during their formation days and fraternal camaraderie.
