Fr Jaybee’s birthday falls on Saturday, 17 July; however as a Parish celebration we invite all to come and have a bite to eat and the opportunity to wish him all the best in the coming year after next Friday’s noon Mass (16 July) in the Ned Kenny Centre. We would be grateful if you could bring a plate to share (remembering the facilities there are that not that crash hot for cooking, they’re better for warming if you don’t have a crockpot etc. But your presence is the best present you can offer when he is far way from this blood family to hug, kiss and show him the many ways they love him. The friendship we can show is but another form of kinship. Friendship involves a serious kind of belonging to one another, a belonging that is just as meaningful and deep-felt as familial ties. So please come if you can and show you care and appreciate all he does.
