A Prayer for Mission

Gracious God,

You call us to be one in Christ,

united in mission.

Bless your Church as we celebrate

a century of World Mission Sunday.

Ignite in us the missionary zeal that

filled Blessed Pauline Jaricot’s heart.

Strengthen us to be witnesses to

your Gospel with courage and compassion.

May we recognise Christ present

in every person and every culture.

Inspire us to build bridges of justice,

peace, and solidarity.

Guide our communities to

share generously with those most in need.

May your Spirit lead us to

walk together as one global family.

We ask this through Christ,

our companion in mission.

Amen.
