A ROSE IS A ROSE IS A ROSE

“A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses.” Six roses have died over the last couple of years (three at each church) and so now need replacing. Is there anyone who is digging up roses or perhaps would like to donate towards a rose? If so please ring the Parish Office or contact Di Mas or Greg Smith. Rosemary & David Ryan had to dig up a ‘Helmut Schmidt’ (a very strong yellow) from an overcrowded bed while they were doing their pruning. (They have over 50 growing) This has been taken to OLB. They donated ’Mother’s Love’ last year to St Joseph’s. Terry & Kay Phillips have also put their hand up to donate a rose for the bed at OLB. We’ll let you know what variety when it is purchased. Thank you and thank you!
