BISHOP GEORGE ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS

Fr Pierre has been appointed Vicar General of the Diocese for a period of one year. He brings to this role a profound commitment to the life of he Church, along with many years of dedicated service in priestly ministry and diocesan leadership.

Fr Tony has been appointed Episcopal Vicar for Clergy, also for a term of one year. This role will focus particularly on the wellbeing, pastoral support, and ongoing accompaniment of our priests and deacons. He has demonstrated deep pastoral care and fraternal concern for his brother clergy.

Bishop George writes: “These appointments come at a time of renewal and hope for our Diocese. I ask you to join me in prayer and support for both Fr Pierre and Fr Tony, that the Holy Spirit will guide and sustain them in their service to the presbyterate and to the People of God.” For full letter from our Bishop, please see notice board in church.
