Easter Message From Fr. Jess

Christ is risen, alleluia! With Christians around the world, we should shout this cry of joy today as we thank God the Father in heaven for raising Jesus from the dead. This is the foundation of our faith: the Lord is risen and he will raise us up. With the ogoing war and violence going on in Middle East and in some parts of the world, the message of Easter prevails. Even in darkness, the light is not extinguished and the truth rings out, life is stronger than death. HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE.
We farewell FR. NATHAN BARRIE as will be transferred to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Bunbury for his next post. On behalf of the Parish, I sincerely thank him for his dedicated priestly service when he commenced his ministry to our parish after his ordination. Fr. Nathan, your priestly ministry will be missed, but your impact will remain. Fr. Nathan will begin his Cathedral assignment at the end of May.
We welcome FR. JAYAN JOHNSON to our Parish. As priests of Jesus Christ, we go wherever He wants us to go.
We thank DEACON BARRY CRUICKSHANK who is retiring from his diaconate ministry. We wish you well with Kaye. May your retirement be filled with His blessings and peace.
DEACON GREG DUDLEY has moved to CAPE CARE DUNSBOROUGH with his wife Dawn. Our prayers and wishes to them in their new home.
