Saturday, 21 May - 8.30am Serendipitous, fortuitous, or just a lucky coincidence - call it what you will; all that matters is that next Saturday’s busy bee, for Our Lady of the Bay, falls during Laudato Si’ week. What does that mean? It means you can feel smug and righteous as you help with the pruning, deadheading and weeding. After all, you will be right in line with the Pope’s plea to ‘care for our common home.’ Please bring your hat, gardening gloves, closed-in footwear and appropriate clothing (that might mean rain gear). Wear sunscreen and when bringing gardening tools, please be conversant in their use. (Health and Safety, people, health and safety!) We will also need a trailer or two. (anyone?) Morning tea will be provided. Please contact Greg Smith 0429 924 085 with any queries.
