  • Jun 12
  • 1 min read

5 Key points need to know about it

  • Human Intelligence is immeasurably superior to artificial intelligence

  • The Church must challenge the technocratic paradigm

  • We are called to build a civilisation of love (not culture power)

  • Our use of technology should be a principled use

  • The life of Jesus shows us how to embrace our limitations for deeper communion with God.

His encyclical, the title of which means "magnificent humanity", pleads for AI development that safeguards Earth's natural resources, perserves the dignity of work, builds up human solidarity, and does not concentrate power in hands of a few but rather ensures all people benefit from the innovation.
