NICENE CREED

This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea (325 AD), a pivotal moment in the history of the Church. To honour this significant milestone, we have been using the Nicene Creed during Mass. This creed, formulated at the council, affirms the core beliefs of our faith and unites us with Christians throughout the centuries. By praying the Nicene Creed together, we celebrate our shared heritage and deepen our connection to the universal Church.
