A Pastoral Council seeks to enrich the quality of parish life and provide opportunities for parishioners to grow in holiness; and to discover and live out their personal and community call to mission. Our Pastoral Council can be the cement that binds us all together in love as a family to carry out the Gospel message. It may take a while to bring all this about. But it will never happen unless dedicated parishioners get things started. We need people to serve on our Parish Pastoral Council so we can face this challenge together! The Parish Pastoral Council’s first meeting for the year will be on Wednesday, 10 February. They meet every second Wednesday of the month between 7-8pm. If you feel you may be called in furthering the work of our Parish Pastoral Council or you would like to recommend someone, please talk to Fr Jaybee or phone / email the Parish Office. Remember that ideally, the members of the Pastoral Council are representative of the whole parish community and all parishioners are potential members. In fact the Parish benefits when there is a great diversity in age, gender and ethnic origin of our members. Are you a member of one of our ministries? As such you are exceedingly valuable and can bring to the table what you is happening within your ministry and ideas for your ministry to grow. Please pray on it!
