We are preparing our parish for this journey of conversation in the spirit. We reflect:
What is GOD asking of us today in our parish?
What are we grateful for and what works well?
What are the opportunities?
What are the priorities for your parish as part of the diocese of Bunbury?
A METHOD FOR CONVERSATION IN THE SPIRIT
Begin with a few oments of silence to allow ourselves to pender the questions.
First round of conversation:
Each person has a chance to speak. There is no discussion in this, and there is a time of silence to allow for reflection.
Second round of conversation:
Share what struck you most or what reasonated for you in the first round and what moved you during the time of silence. Once again this is followed by a pause of reflection.
Third round of conversation:
Finally in the third round participants reflect on what moved them most deeply. What new insights arise? What are the common themes or fruits of the conversations?
It is suggested that on Sunday, 5 July, after Mass, we will engage in a Parish Conversation in the Spirit at OLB Hall. We encourage everyone to participate. Ministries and organizations are also encourage to have their own conversations.
