Wednesday, 11th: Fr Rob Galea, an internationally acclaimed musician and Catholic priest, blends his deep faith with musical talent for an unforgettable experience at St Mary MacKillop College Gym 6pm start. Thursday, 12th: Dr Carmel Suart, the Director of the Centre for Liturgy and the Office of Christian Initiation for the Archdiocese of Perth. Her main area of expertise is family catechesis, which has seen her provide support to bishops, priests, teachers, catechists, and families in nurturing the faith of children within the context of family life. Venue: Our Lady of the Bay, 6pm arrival. Register with Parish Office. (I read where her great passion in life was to share her faith with others. Maybe we’ll get some pointers.)
Friday, 13th: Movie Night - Father Stu: Reborn. Follows the life of Fr Stuart Long, a boxer turned priest who inspired countless people during his journey from self-destruction to redemption. Our Lady of the Bay, 6pm start. Register with Parish Office. The kettle will be on. Bring a snack and sit down to immerse yourself in a great faith story. (I saw the R rated version last year. It was really, really good.)
Saturday, 14th: Parish Pilgrimage “The Desire to Desire”. Come along to God’s Farm for a day in Ignatian Retreat with Fr Archie Carampatan. Venue: God’s Farm, Wilyabrup. 9am arrival. Bus leaves from OLB at 8.30am. BYO Picnic Lunch. Register with Parish Office.
Sunday, 15th: Parish Showcase of the various ministries and groups in our parish following the 9am Mass at Our Lady of the Bay. Enjoy a sausage sizzle while you discover new ways of getting involved and connecting with our parish community.
