Ev Brand writes to thank you all for your many prayers. She has been settled in the Regents Garden Home in Bateman for three months now. If you would like to drop her a line just ring the Parish Office for her address. A pair of gloves were found in the carpark of Our Lady of the Bay last Sunday evening. You can collect them from the Parish Office. The College has once again dropped off loads of boxes of canned and dried food, and blankets for Vinnies to distribute where needed. Many, many thanks to our College families for their ongoing generosity. Father has met with the College and they have together organised new Sacrament dates. (Not as easy as it sounds given all the regulations we have to be aware of now, together with time restraints) Given the limiting of numbers allowed in the Church, each class will have an evening Mass through the week in late July for First Eucharist. Reconciliation will take place at the end of this month and Confirmation dates must wait until the Bishop reassesses his calendar. Last weekend’s Masses went quite smoothly. Give yourselves a pat on the back for following all the guidelines with minimal grumbling. We must also thank Julie and Jo for getting in there to dust and polish the church. You can imagine the state it was in after being deserted for a few months. Father and Joan went out on the Friday arvo to help with setting up the seating and floor markings.
