The Australian Catholic Bishops’ Social Justice Statement: Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor, affirms that we human beings need a change of heart, mind, and behaviour. It exhorts us all to care for creation and the most vulnerable people in our worldwide human family. It calls us to global solidarity and asks us to listen to First Peoples. An article, published in the West Australian last Tuesday, has been sent by the Bunbury Diocesan Social Justice Education Committee as a follow up reflection on NAIDOC week. Copies are in the church and can be found here.
