Saint Joseph’s Parish Picnic

All are invited to this annual event. All of the finer details can be found here. Our Parish Pastoral Council is pulling out all stops to make this a day to remember. They are also looking for volunteers to assist them with the setup between 9-10am on the day. Please contact Tim Murphy if you can help (0418 932 170 timpaulamurphy@gmail.com). This would be a great day to invite a friend or family member to accompany you. They just might hear, see or experience something they really need. (My journey started with an invitation. The Spirit works in ways we just can’t fathom.) So Catholic or not, gather them up and bring them along!

“All Nations” Let’s celebrate our diversity and join in on our international theme picnic. When: Sunday 8th November. Mass on Saint Mary MacKillop oval starting at 10am. Morning tea and lunch after Mass. (Note: There will be no 9.00am Mass at OLB on that day). Theme: The theme is 'We Come From Many Nations', so you are encouraged to come dressed in a nation’s colours, costume, sporting shirt and even bring a flag. Bring: Please bring folder chairs, beach umbrella, picnic rug, drink and food. BBQs will be available. It would be appreciated if you could bring a plate to share for morning tea—something with an international flavour. Milk, coffee and tea will be available. Activities: Bouncy castle and games for the kids. Closest to the pin for the golfers. Feel free to bring along other games like totem tennis or bocce to share. Can anyone provide some music entertainment? If you can help in any way, please contact Tim Murphy 0418932170 or 97531174 Be sure to mark the date and we look forward to seeing you there.
