Legion of Mary Annual Acies Ceremony
Friday, 29 May 2026 The Legion of Mary will be having their annual Acies Ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church on Friday, 29th of May 2026. During the Holy Hour, there will be Rosary followed by Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and ending with Benediction. After the 12.00pm Mass, there will be a light luncheon in the Ned Kenny Centre and an opportunity to have a chat.

Craft Morning Tea
This year is our scheduled biennial craft group morning tea. As our group is few in numbers, we would like to open this up as a bring and buy craft and produce morning tea. Proceeds are a general fund raiser for the parish. So keep Sunday December 6 free and get cracking! Further details to follow.

Holy Spirit

We are launching our parish mission statement that has been formulated by our Parish Pastoral Council that is now in the cover page of our new parish bulletin. Vision: Growing in faith, inclusivity & outreach through openness. First Saturday Devotion
There is a 9am mass every first Saturday of the month in Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Dunsborough.

HEART DEFIBRILLATORS
Our defibrillators are now functioning again having had their batteries and pads renewed. Also in addition both units have a bag attached containing scissors, safety razor and a mouth to mouth plastic appliance to assist if this is needed. The former should not be removed for any other pur- pose.

Facilitator’s Training for Parish Synodal Team
We are grateful to the following parishioners who agreed to be our Parish Synodal Facilitators: Josephine Cammilleri, Gay Cooper and Mona Damnjanovic The training and workshop will be on 23rd May, Saturday at OLB Hall from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. Neighbouring parishes will be sending their delegates to join the training.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL – 160 Years in WA
The St Vincent de Paul Society in WA is celebrating its 160th Anniversary – for the SW region a special Mass will be offered in Busselton on Saturday 16 May at 11am in Our Lady of the Bay church with Bishop George as the main celebrant. Members from throughout the Bunbury Diocese will be joined by the SVdPWA State President and members travelling from Perth and beyond. Our Bunbury Diocesan choir will lead the singing of the Mass. There will be a retiring collection after mass for our departing gift to Fr. Nathan. On 17th May after mass, there will be a morning tea to celebrate Fr. Nathan’s anniversary and to bid him farewell. Please bring a plate to share and all are welcome.

Respecful Preparation: Arriving early and remaining quiet before the mass starts allows everyone to transit from the noise of daily life into an encounter with God. Shared silence unites the congregation in a collective pause, preventing the church from becoming a social hall or distracting environment. Let us observe silence and spend time in prayer preparation as we celebrate the Holy Mass.

Catenian Koffee Klub
